Hand-picked News

Peter Steinberger built OpenClaw as a weekend project in November, and now he's joining OpenAI to build personal agents.

  • OpenClaw hit 145,000 GitHub stars in weeks despite security issues—people wanted AI that does things, not just talks

  • The project stays open source, which is weird for a hire like this but makes sense if OpenAI wants the community hype

  • Steinberger says he joined because building useful agents needs serious infrastructure, not just good code

Here's why this matters: the AI race just shifted from "who has the smartest chatbot" to "who can build AI that actually completes tasks." OpenAI was behind on agents. Now they're not.

Only 8% of companies are using AI agents in production right now, but that's the next frontier. OpenClaw proved people want this.

👀 No timeline on when this shows up in ChatGPT, but Altman says it'll be "core" soon.

Anthropic opened its first India office in Bengaluru and signed partnerships with Air India and Razorpay.

  • India is already Claude's second biggest market, and half the usage there is developers writing actual production code

  • A startup called Emergent hit $25M revenue in five months using Claude to let people build software by just describing what they want

  • India has the highest rate of agentic AI adoption globally—nearly half of companies there say it's a top priority

Here's the real reason they're there: Dario Amodei said they can "do experiments with hundreds of millions of people." India has over a billion people, strong digital infrastructure, and companies actually using AI agents right now.

The challenge is language. AI works better in English, but India speaks a dozen official languages. Anthropic's building training data for 10 of them to close that gap.

👀 What to watch: If Anthropic cracks multi-language agentic AI in India, every other AI company will follow the playbook.

Google's Threat Intelligence group published a report showing how hackers use AI to attack people faster.

  • Government hackers from North Korea, Iran, China, and Russia are using AI to write phishing emails that sound real, like they're actually from your company

  • One hacker group sent 100,000 prompts to Google Gemini trying to steal its code and build their own AI model

  • Google found malware that tells your AI assistant to write more malware, so it keeps changing and you can't catch it

The report says hackers use AI for everything now: researching targets, writing code, finding security holes, and making scam emails sound professional. One group even deepfaked a CEO on a Zoom call to trick employees.

AI used to help us work faster. Now it's helping hackers work faster too.

⚠️ What to watch: If your CEO calls you on Zoom asking for something weird, verify it another way first. Deepfakes are getting really good.

Here’s an un-boring way to invest that billionaires have quietly leveraged for decades

If you have enough money that you think about buckets for your capital…

Ever invest in something you know will have low returns—just for the sake of diversifying?

CDs… Bonds… REITs… :(

Sure, these “boring” investments have some merits. But you probably overlooked one historically exclusive asset class:

It’s been famously leveraged by billionaires like Bezos and Gates, but just never been widely accessible until now.

It outpaced the S&P 500 (!) overall WITH low correlation to stocks, 1995 to 2025.*

It’s not private equity or real estate. Surprisingly, it’s postwar and contemporary art.

And since 2019, over 70,000 people have started investing in SHARES of artworks featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso through a platform called Masterworks.

  • 23 exits to date

  • $1,245,000,000+ invested

  • Annualized net returns like 17.6%, 17.8%, and 21.5%

Better prompts. Better AI output.

AI gets smarter when your input is complete. Wispr Flow helps you think out loud and capture full context by voice, then turns that speech into a clean, structured prompt you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or any assistant. No more chopping up thoughts into typed paragraphs. Preserve constraints, examples, edge cases, and tone by speaking them once. The result is faster iteration, more precise outputs, and less time re-prompting. Try Wispr Flow for AI or see a 30-second demo.
